Hello and welcome. I'm Katie and I create porcelain ceramics that are entirely hand-made in my garden studio. Each piece is a canvas for decoration and collage as I carefully combine drawings with found vintage ephemera to create one-off, unique pieces to adorn your home, bring you joy and make you smile. I am inspired by nostalgia, paper ephemera, vintage textiles and a love of drawing. I have always been fascinated by objects that have a history and some might say I’m a bit of a collector. Especially my family as I have shelves full to the brim of treasures and vintage tea cups! Nostalgic themes that I constantly revisit in my work are afternoon tea, the seaside, gardening, and my love of traditional blue and white pottery. But I’m always curious as inspiration can sometimes strike even in the most unlikely of places.
